What Did Jesus Say About The Spirit, Soul, and Body?
The words Jesus spoke from the cross must have been very important. It is very, very difficult to speak while hanging on a cross. There were 30 words spoken, and all 30 were related with either the spirit, soul, or body. Luke 23. MEV
Spirit, 8 words. and Jesus cried out with a loud voice, “Father, into Your hands I commit My Spirit.” Luke 23:46
Soul, 10 words. Jesus said, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.” Luke 23:34
Body, 12 words. Jesus said to him, “truly, I tell you, today you will be with Me in paradise.” Luke 23:43
